Learn to use your overlocker

This workshop focuses on building the techniques and finishes which can be achieved with your overlocker and its specialist feet. This is a great next step for those who’ve mastered the threading, tensions and differential feed.

What you will learn:

• Creating edge finishes- rolled, lettuce hem
• Flatlock seams or hems
• Gather
• Feeding through trims and elastics
• Making samples

What you will need to bring:

• Your overlocker with attachments and manual (NB. Please let me know the make and model so I can have a manual to hand in case
  it’s needed because all machines are different and require different set ups/attachments for these techniques)
• A sewing kit – thread scissors, pins, tape measure etc
• Pencil, pens ruler

What we supply:

• Samples, trims, elastics
• Instructions
