Exciting news! Last month we took on a new shop at 1 Camelot Court, Penzance. We have our lovely sign up now and everything has been repainted ready for our workshops to run. In.July we will hosting loads of arts and craft workshop, including one on CE testing on 21st July for anyone who wanted to learn to test their own toys, provided by Mandie Paul of Kernow Knitting, a professional designer and toy maker whose friendly knitted items have graced our shelves for over a year.
We will also be taking part in the new Saturday Breeze Markets, run by the very professional CIC that organises Breeze Art fair at Trereife House every year. The markets are taking place down by the Jubilee Pool from Saturday 3rd of July. We can’t wait to set out our makes and sit in the sunshine (hopefully)!
If you are further up towards north Cornwall and would like to see what we’re about, don’t worry! If all remains well in these strange times of Covid, we will be exhibiting at Lobbs Farm, near Heligan for a week from 29th August. We would love to see you there!
We have also been trading at the Golowan Exhibition in the Wharfside, Penzance for the last week. We will still be popping up there until Quay Fair day on 27th June. We may not be the usual full street market, but we have done our best to give visitors a taste of what the market means for Mazey Day so we hope you like it. joining us for the fortnight is Brian Osborne, of A Little Bit of Cornwall Jewellery, whose quirky silver sea glass jewellery can’t be seen in the shop so if you’re a jewellery aficionado, do pop in for a look.
