Morvah Mermaid

Morvah Mermaid – the story of the mermaid of Morvah draws from times long ago. The Celtic saints arrived in Cornwall from Ireland and introduced Christianity to the communities here. Mystical beings abound however in West Cornwall so no-one really knows whether there really was a Morvah Mermaid. Maybe she was seen be sailors. Maybe she was part of the folklore. We do know for certain that a certain eccentric Revd Hawker of Morwenstow (North Cornwall) liked purple and once dressed as a mermaid! Morvah Mermaid is NOT a toy. For decoration only.
